Who We Are

CircleWebWorks is a company owned by Marg Herder, web designer, audio engineer and musician. Formerly operated as Softsound Web Design, in January of 2007 we adopted the name CircleWebWorks to better reflect the focus of the business.

Marg currently works as the lead designer, while Lisa DeWeese handles the business operations.

Rates

The rate for web or graphic design, site maintenance, consulting, audio file encoding, or email list management is $45.00 per hour.

Domain registration is billed at cost, $15.00 per year. Domain registration is available for hosting clients only.

Website hosting is $120.00 a year, billed in advance, non-refundable. Please contact us for plan details.

Billing

At CircleWebWorks we do our billing about once a month. We bill you only after work is completed to your satisfaction. You will receive an invoice via USPS or email, according to your preference. Invoices are due upon receipt,
so we appreciate your prompt payment. You can pay your bill with a check or money order, or use a credit card when you pay via PayPal. PayPal payee address is listed on the invoice.

How We Work

When you have work you'd like done on your site, you will contact us with a work order. You can send this to us via email or by using the work order form on our web site.

We prefer not to receive work orders over the phone. Receiving your work order in writing allows us to make sure it gets on the schedule!

Please be as specific as possible in your work order. We won't hesitate to contact you with questions, but it's easier for us if all the information we need is provided and we can just get to work.

Scheduling

When you submit a work order, it is scheduled for the next open time slot. Most smaller work orders are completed within 72 hours. If your work order cannot be completed in 72 hours, we will contact you with an estimated completion time.

Larger projects, ones that take more than an hour to complete, are done as quickly as possible.

Initial site design and deployment usually takes about a month from the time you provide all the information we request.

The key is communication. Let us know if you have some work that needs to be done very quickly. We'll do our best to make it happen.

If you do not see your requested changes completed and posted, and you haven't heard from us within 72 hours, please contact us about it.
